Whistler Alpine Guides Bureau
The Whistler Alpine Guides Bureau is based in the Municipality Resort of Whistler, in the heart of the Coast Mountains of British Columbia, Canada. Founded in 1991, the Whistler Alpine Guides Bureau has a long-standing tradition of being the only full service mountain guiding company and mountain instructional school in the Whistler and Squamish areas.
While offering a wide variety of scheduled, guided and custom services, we specialize in providing programs such as rock climbing, ice climbing, backcountry ski/snowboard touring, mountaineering, hiking, glacier walks and snowshoeing to encourage the proliferation of mountain activity and promote appreciation for backcountry wilderness. Our mission is to provide our clientele with an awesome outdoor experience, to support them in overcoming challenges and to educate them with the knowledge and skills necessary to play in a mountain environment.

Summer activities include rock climbing tours, rock climbing courses, mountaineering, alpine climbing, hiking, backpacking and glacier tours while our winter activities include backcountry ski and snowboard touring, ice climbing, snowshoeing, telemark instruction, ski mountaineering and recreational avalanche awareness courses. We offer tours and courses for all ages and abilitiy levels.
