Wild Willie's

Wild Willies Ski Club is Whistler's most acclaimed ski and outdoor store. The only Canadian store to receive a Gold Award from Ski Magazine in 2001, the ten-year-old establishment has won Whistler's Pique magazine Best Ski Shop Award for the past four years consecutively.

Powder magazine has listed Wild Willies in the Top Ten places to have a boot-fit in North America and as the Best Tune-up shop in Whistler. And last year, Ski Canada named Wild Willies, The Best Customer Service in the World. The company has outlets in three locations, Creekside, the Village, and Nester's. The expansive main multi-level store at Nester's is just a kilometre from the Village. But all services are provided through all locations.

The Village location is in the Gateway Building next to the bus loop and is the newest of the Wild Willies stores. Both the Village and Creekside stores are within easy walking distance of the lifts.

Wild Willies is well known to locals and has produced seven championship teams in the annual Peak to Valley Race. On Monday nights the company sponsors free x-country ski nights in winter and guided bike rides in the summer.

A solid corporate citizen, Wild Willies sponsors many junior racers, organizes fund-raisers for the national ski team, Olympic and Para-Olympic racers, and offers free clinics to the public on ski tuning, bike repairs, camping, etc. at various times during the year.

Wild Willies has an excellently trained, full-time, year-round staff that gives it more knowledge and expertise on the floor than any other store in the area. Known by the locals as the best value for the money in Whistler, Wild Willies looks forward to serving all who visit.
