Benbow Construction was established in 1988. Working in the White Rock // South Surrey area building custom homes on land developed by the company allowed us to "construct the quality of project that we are proud to have our name on " states John Benbow -president .

Benbow Construction recently changed it's logo and name to reflect the projects that are in demand in the Whistler Valley as we enter into the new millenium . We are now Benbow Custom Homes . " We will continue to be strong in the renovation market as well " states John Benbow president , coming off one of the biggest renovation years in the company's history . It was the type of upgrades to the older condos and chalets that partially inspired the name change . " Everything in Whistler is unique , from the smallest deck to the largest mountain retreat and we think that the new name and image reflects that atmosphere "says Benbow .

Relocating to Whistler in 1992 Benbow Custom Homes continues to grow , not only in business but also in the community supporting the Whistler Skating Club , Whistler Baseball League and the Whistler Mountain Ski Club to name a few . This is a small town with a big heart we as a community fundraise for everything under the sun from the health care centre to the library and do a great job and I can say that I am a proud member of this community .
